How to Use Proxy IP Address in Different Browsers?

IP Address can help you track anyone using the internet. It means IP address acts as tracing code for internet user. So if you want to use internet a bit anonymously you can do it and that is by using proxy IP address.And some sites make their access open only to some specific country or area. It means the users from other country cannot access such sites. In such case you obviously need to use proxy IP of the accessible country. 
In simple words you may understand proxy IP is the virtual location of the computer.
My friend once asked me if i can access some videos on youtube that was not accessible here in our country. And obviously my answer was Yes. And it is with the use of proxy IP.

So let's learn how to use proxy IPs in different top browsers.

Step 1: First Go to HideMyAss Proxy List And get the proxy IP of your preferred country.
And follow the following steps as below in your preferred browsers.

Use Proxy IP in Firefox

1. Open the browser and Select Tools from menu bar and click on Options.

2. Navigate To Advanced and click on Settings next to Configure how Firefox connects to the Internet.

3. Select Manual Proxy Configuration and fill the Http Proxy with proxy ip address and Port(get these by following step 1) with port and select Use this proxy server for all protocols.

4. Finally click OK.

Use Proxy In Google Chrome:

1. Open the browser and click on "Customize Google Chrome" or  button from top right corner and click on settings.

2. Scroll down until you see Show advanced settings... and click on it. 

3. Scroll further until you see Network Settings and click on Change Proxy Settings.

4. Choose Connections And click on LAN Settings. 

5. Uncheck the box that says Automatically Detect Settings and click the checkbox to enable "Use a proxy server for your LAN...

6. Fill the Address box with preferred IP and port as you can get it as stated in step 1 above and finally click OK.

Use Proxy IP in Opera:

1. Open the browser and click on Opera from top left corner and select settings. Or directly go to opera://settings from address bar.

2. Scroll down until you see Network Settings and click on Change Proxy Settings.

3. Choose Connections And click on LAN Settings. 

4. Uncheck the box that says Automatically Detect Settings and click the checkbox to enable "Use a proxy server for your LAN...

5. Fill the Address box with preferred IP and port as you can get it as stated in step 1 above and finally click OK.

Use Proxy IP in Internet Explorer :

1. Open the Browser and Click on the dropdown menu for Tools and select Internet Options.

2. Choose Connections And click on LAN Settings. 

3. Uncheck the box that says Automatically Detect Settings and click the checkbox to enable "Use a proxy server for your LAN...

4. Fill the Address box with preferred IP and port as you can get it as stated in step 1 above and finally click OK.

How To Know if you have changed your IP address?

Before changing your IP go to IP2Location and check your location and follow the above steps in your preferred browser and again check your location and see the change.
